This painting was inspired by observing my dog’s all-consuming devotion to those closest to him, and how we as people chase, follow, and watch closely over those we love.
The wolf on the right is watching his two brothers as they chase their way through the forest, unquestioning devotion to their path ahead. Though anxious, he follows suit as he checks his shoulder for reassurance. As long as they’re together, he’ll follow where they lead.
